Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 28, 2026

1. Who I am

This site is run by Yaakov Yuval Gilboa, musician and content creator, based in Israel. I am responsible for your personal data. Contact: thecameria@gmail.com.

2. What I collect

  • Your email address, when you ask for the free song.
  • A record of your consent (time and page).
  • If ad measurement is allowed (see section 5): technical and advertising data such as IP address, browser and device details, pages viewed, button clicks and Meta cookie identifiers (_fbp, _fbc). Your email is sent to Meta only in hashed (scrambled, SHA-256) form.
  • Your cookie choice.

3. Why I use it

  • To send you the song and my newsletter (your consent).
  • To measure and improve my ads on Meta (your consent where the law requires it; otherwise my legitimate interest, which you can opt out of at any time).
  • To keep the site secure and prevent abuse.
  • To meet legal obligations.

4. Who receives it

  • Kit (ConvertKit): stores subscribers and sends emails.
  • Meta Platforms: ad measurement.
  • My hosting provider: delivers and secures the site.
  • Bandcamp: if you buy something, under Bandcamp's own privacy policy.

I never sell or rent your email address. Under California law, sharing data with Meta for advertising may count as "sharing"; you can opt out at any time through "Privacy choices".

5. Cookies and ad measurement

  • Visitors in the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland: Meta measurement starts only if you click "Accept".
  • Everyone else: Meta measurement is on by default, and you can turn it off at any time through "Privacy choices" at the bottom of the page.
  • I treat a Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as an opt-out.
  • An essential cookie named "cookie-consent" remembers your choice for up to 180 days across yuvalgilboa.com pages.

6. International transfers

My providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, transfers are protected by Standard Contractual Clauses or other lawful safeguards.

7. How long I keep it

While you are subscribed. After you unsubscribe, I delete your data within 30 days, except for consent records I must keep by law. Meta keeps measurement data under its own retention rules.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its use, receive a copy, withdraw consent, and opt out of sharing. You can also complain to a regulator, such as Israel's Privacy Protection Authority, your EU data protection authority, the UK ICO or the California Privacy Protection Agency. Email thecameria@gmail.com and I will reply within 30 days. I will never treat you differently for using your rights.

9. Security

I use encrypted connections (HTTPS) and trusted providers, but no online service can be 100% secure.

10. Children

This site is not meant for children under 16, and I don't knowingly collect their data.

11. Changes

If I change this policy, I'll update the date above.
